You can create a Hiresweep account with an email address and password, or with a Google, GitHub or LinkedIn account. Creating an account is free.

Sign up with your email address

1

Open the sign-up page

Go to hiresweep.com and select Sign up in the top right. You land on Create your account. If you are on the sign-in page instead, select Create one now next to “Don’t have an account?”.
2

Fill in the form

Then select Sign up. By creating an account you agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
3

Verify your email

Hiresweep shows Check your email and sends a Verify your email message to the address you entered. Open it and select Verify Email. You are signed in and taken to your dashboard. You can’t sign in with your password until you verify. If you try, Hiresweep sends you a new link.

Sign up with Google, GitHub or LinkedIn

On Create your account, select Google, GitHub or LinkedIn under or continue with, then approve access on the provider’s page. You come back signed in. There is no verification email, because the provider has already confirmed your address. Hiresweep picks a username for you from your provider handle or the first part of your email address. You can change it later in your profile.
Use these buttons on the sign-up page. On the sign-in page, they only sign in to an account that already exists. A Google, GitHub or LinkedIn account that isn’t linked to Hiresweep won’t get a new account there.
If you already have a Hiresweep account with the same email address, signing in with Google, GitHub or LinkedIn links that provider to it. See Linking social accounts.

Usernames

Your username is part of every public resume link: hiresweep.com/your-username/resume-slug. Choose one you are happy to share.
  • It must be unique across Hiresweep.
  • Use 3 to 64 characters: lowercase letters, numbers, dots (.), hyphens (-) and underscores (_). Capital letters are turned into lowercase.
  • Some names are reserved because they match pages on the site, such as admin, api, dashboard, docs, help, login, pricing, settings, support and hiresweep.
You can sign in with your username instead of your email address. The sign-in field is labeled Email or username.

Troubleshooting

Someone else has it, or it is a reserved name. Try a variation, for example with a dot or a number.
You already signed up with that address, maybe through Google, GitHub or LinkedIn. Sign in instead, or select Forgot password? on the sign-in page to set a new password by email.
Check your spam folder. On the Check your email screen, select Resend verification email. If you already left that screen, sign in with your email and password: Hiresweep sends a new link.
You probably used the button on the sign-in page. Go to Create your account and select the provider there.
